On March 5th we will experience a Full Moon in Virgo giving us clarity on what direction to take and inspiring us to let go of routines, mind-sets, and people who aren’t working towards our good. A Full Moon is the final stage in the moon’s lunar cycle; the cycle begins with a New Moon and concludes about 28 days later with a Full Moon. In the beginning stage, we open ourselves up to implementing and receiving new things. In the final stage, we release anything that isn’t working into the moon to clear a path for a fresh start the next New Moon cycle. The zodiac sign that the moon is in indicates where our focus will be when it comes to making changes during the Full Moon. Over the last couple of weeks things have been getting clearer for you; you realize what changes you need to make to get to where you want to go. There was a nice Full Moon kick-off on March 3rd when Jupiter, the planet of good luck, truth, and optimism, met-up with Uranus, the planet of change and evolution. This meeting gave us all some inspiration to make changes or to accepted unexpected changes as a step toward self-improvement and actualization.
The universe is keeping the momentum of positive change energy going with the Full Moon in Virgo. This Full Moon is just what we need as we prepare to welcome spring (spring begins on March 20th). Virgo’s influence will motivate us to make changes in our routines, cycles, and habits that are weighing us down, keeping us stalled, or blocking our flow. Clear things out now, to establish success and new beginning in the spring! The energy of Virgo is perfecting, detailed, and analytical with a strong focus on health & wellness. being of service, and organizing – just what we need to get ourselves on track.
Make That Change
Time to kick unhealthy eating and drinking habits we picked up over the holiday season if we want to look and feel our best. When’s the last time you been to the gym? Do the cold, dark mornings have you hitting snooze one too many times? Have you traded your morning spinach, apple, and ginger juice for a warm, sugary cup of coffee or chocolate? Have you missed a few days of Oprah & Deepak Chopra’s Meditation Experience? Make a pledge now to stop being lazy, greedy, and unfocused when it comes to your physical and mental health.
Take some time to analyze your spending habits; with all the travel, shopping, and overindulging that comes with the holiday season you may have fallen into some habits that are a deterrent to your savings plan. Take a look at you finances, reduce overspending or spending on unnecessary things. Make sure your investments are working for you. Buckle down on unnecessary spending and make ensure you are making wise choices when it comes to building wealth and saving.
Are you doing your very best everyday when it comes to work or other responsibilities? Virgo is a perfectionist and her influence will have you looking at yourself and the quality of the things you are producing with a critical eye. If you aren’t getting the results, praise, income boost, or self-satisfaction from your work, projects, or personal endeavors now is the time to figure out what’s not working or if you aren’t putting in enough energy to get the results you want. Time to pull yourself out of auto-pilot mode and flowing with the status-quo; renew, reinvent, or recreate the methods or structures you use to get results you want.
How to Use the Full Moon
Regardless if we do anything or not, we will all feel the impact of the full moon on us. I’m sure as you read this post you recognize the occurrence of these themes over the last couple of weeks. If you use the energy of the full moon intentionally, it can have an even greater impact in your life. You will feel even more inspired to make changes and possibly seen the benefits of the changes manifest faster into your life. Lunar Rituals are very simple to implement, you can light a candle based on the energy you need right now to get you motivated, prepare a list of things that you want to let go of as well as, the actions you want to implement into your life. Start by taking a bath or shower to focus your thoughts, then light your candle, and meditate, pray, or focus your thoughts those things you want to release to the moon.
