4 Secrets the Universe Wants You to Know
Clearly, I’m a believer of astrology; I’ve dedicated a huge portion of my life talking about it and helping others understand its benefits beyond the basic “will I find love or get a raise” that horoscopes offer. Don’t get me wrong, I look at my horoscope too because it offers insight; however, the depth of personal understanding and opportunity of growth comes in the form of a Natal Chart.
A Natal Chart or birth chart or star chart as it is sometimes called is an actual snapshot of where the planets were when you were born. This information is used to create a chart that serves as your personal user’s manual. Almost everything you want to know about your characteristics and the things you may experience on your life journey can be uncovered in your Natal Chart – seriously.
Personally, I find themes related to personal discovery and understanding some of the most beneficial pieces of knowledge the chart has to offer. Many times we find it a challenge to understand our life’s purpose or in what direction we should be moving. Thankfully, many of the answers to those questions can be unlocked using your Natal Chart.
Here are 4 things the universe can help you learn about yourself:
When we learn to not judge ourselves so harshly we allow a deeper level of self-understanding to enter our conscious mind. By a certain age we are fully aware of who we are, what we like, what we need to feel happy but we don’t always understand the why – what is subconsciously motivating us to be who we are and more importantly the larger impact those needs and motivations have on our personal experiences and on how we impact others. We begin to understand how our self-expression, choices, and even the people we surround ourself with are helping us to fulfill conscious and subconscious needs and desires.
I think we all fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to other people, especially those we think we are similar to (friends, family, neighbors). This isn’t necessarily a bad thing; however, if you start to put yourself down or begin feeling lost based on other people’s lives or society’s expectations is when you run into trouble. These feelings signify a need for some self-understanding.
Your natal report spells out in black and white exactly how different you are from everyone else. It drills down in very intricate detail who you are without comparing you to anyone else, helping you discover your personal formula for success.
When we begin to understand our subconscious needs and motivations we will also gain a better perspective on our thoughts and actions as well as how we are perceived by others.
Think of something about yourself that you would consider a strong urge or a typical response for example, are you always the one that is helping someone out even if you don’t want too, do you feel like you have to be the center of attention, are you upset when others don’t follow your directions, or do you blurt out the first thing that comes into your head… you may have come to accept these kinds of urges or reactions as just who you are without any rhyme or reason. But there is a rhyme or reason!
When you grasp the root of those feelings or actions you are better able to control, filter, or express yourself in a way that is more beneficial to yourself and others. While you may not be able to control your subconscious needs and urges, you can control your thoughts and actions. Self awareness is particularly helpful in deciphering recurring themes and situations in your life, it allows you to break habits and change patterns that no longer benefit you.
Life’s Big Lesson
You are probably familiar with Karma and Destiny. In Astrology, Karma is what you come into the world with; you don’t have to work on Karma it’s just there. It’s what comes easy or what is deserved. Destiny on the other hand takes some work on our part, we control our Destiny.
We each come into the world with the potential of having an awesome Destiny. Before we reach our true Destiny, we first are given lessons to master that help us become better versions of ourself. As we complete those lessons, life opens up and blessings roll in.
Recognizing those lessons and uncovering our Destiny and true passions can feel like a big mystery. I think most people can tell you what their passion isn’t versus being able to determine what it is. Luckily, the universe gives very specific insights to help you understand you Karmic energy and Destiny calling, as well as pinpoint what lessons you may experience on your journey for the sake of growth. Although this information can be easily located in your natal chart, it doesn’t mean things will be easy. The hard part is making the decision to heal your wounds, learn your lessons, and make the choices that will lead you to the best version of yourself.
What’s Your Passion and Purpose
Karma and Destiny along a few other chart aspects play a key role in uncovering your passion and purpose related to career. Your natal chart points to what types of jobs you may have and even your optimal career based on your talents, interest, and the way you like to live your life day-to-day.
Karma’s role in this is that we tend to pick our career based on what’s easy for us to do. If you are naturally good with numbers you may decide to go into accounting, if you are analytical and are intrigued with human issues you may decide physiology is your calling. People tend to pick a career based on where they can earn the most money doing something they are good at. Some people are lucky in that they find the career that suits their higher-self and destiny early on; however, the vast majority of us aren’t that lucky. What typically happens is after picking the easy path that pays well you begin to feel bored and unfulfilled. You know you need a change but aren’t sure exactly what it is. This is an example of Destiny calling you to evolve and follow your passion.
When this happens there are two choices that could lead to more fulfilment. Either stay in your current career but transform it in some way so that is more fulfilling or step out on faith and move in a completely different direction. Your natal chart can help you understand how your talents and passion can lead to a successful and fulfilling career.
The universe holds a wealth information to help us to help uncover and discover who we are, why we are that way, and most importantly define opportunities for personal growth. If you are interested in unlocking the secrets of your birth chart click here.
